Amber is the secretion of whale, a cetacean that lives in the Indian Ocean, naturally releasing this substance into the water. This raw material floats on the sea waves for many times, sometimes for tens of years. The sun and the water of the oceans purify it to assume the sweet and unmistakable scent of sea and leather that has fascinated man and women since its origin.

When Amber is fresh, it is black, but dried under the sun it becomes gray and takes on a waxy fragrance that reminds of tobacco. The waves deposit it on the beaches of Madagascar and often after months of floating, it drifts into the Indian Ocean.

It is one of the most precious fragrances of animal derivation.

With the maturation, it acquires an intense musky, oriental and persistent smell and this is why it has always represented a sought-after fragrant raw material.
